Classes

Depending on your level of English, you can expect to take this class one on one with an instructor in a class of two. Generally, you will start with a local teacher who can explain difficult concepts in a way you can understand, and then you should rapidly progress to learning English in a strictly native American-English speaking environment. Generally, you should be able to learn at a faster pace in this class while rapidly expanding on the main topic of study of the day. You are expected to work with your instructor, ask questions, demonstrate a positive attitude, and complete the work your instructor assigns you. These classes are designed to bring learners from novice or upper-beginner level English to advanced and native-like English levels. Most of these students aspire to study abroad to provide a better future for themselves and their families.

You can expect to take courses in a class setting of around 4 to 10 students for optimum learning effectiveness. You will demonstrate what level your level your English is currently at, and it will be our job to assign you to a class that is most compatible with your English level as well as the level of other students. You can expect to be introduced to, preview, review, and expand on all unit material. We will conduct class in a fun and constructive way using English concepts to ensure knowledge is retained. We expect you to do the work assigned by your instructor, participate in class, and stay in touch with your instructor. A good attitude, and a personal willingness to learn will help students much more than the students who merely show up to class. These classes are designed to bring learners from beginner level to advanced. Most of the students in group classes have a goal of standing out, and having a competitive edge during exams or within the greater community at large.

These classes are primarily for young adults and adults. Teenagers who are gifted in the English language are also encouraged to take these classes. We will assess your English level and place you in a class with others (up to ten for maximized learning opportunity) who have a similar level of English as you. We can place you in one-on-one classes as well. You can expect to be introduced to, preview, review, and build upon the concepts outlined in the course material. You will be challenged, but rewarded for your efforts in this class, and you can expect the class environment to adapt to the needs of the student(s). These classes are designed to bring advanced level English speakers to near-native like level. These classes should serve to prepare any businessman/woman and/or business venture their desired ability to properly and fluently conduct business with foreigners. Class is conducted in an all English speaking environment.

From drama, to talent shows, to preparation in entertainment and tourism, these “outside the box” English classes are designed for students who are just beginning their artistic journey or who have already advanced far enough in their artistic skillset that they just want to add that extra bit of magic. Learners in these classes will be assessed in terms of their needs and how those needs can best be met. Artists and entertainers are unique people, so it may be that one on one classes are best, but on the other hand it may be that group classes are preferable to spark creativity. In either case, you can expect to learn what is specifically designed for you! Whether it be you are a tour guide, a writer, a singer, or a talent agent, you can expect to be challenged in how you think of your own art through the lens of foreigners, and how you can better brandish your ideas to the world!

These classes are for older-teenagers to adults of all ages. These classes are for those who wish to learn conversational and survival English. An ideal class consists of a a group of learners, but depending on the skillset of the learner, one-on-one lessons are acceptable as well. You can expect to learn at a relaxed pace, but not too relaxed as it is necessary to retain the material. It is up to you to take the class seriously, show up on time, do the work assigned, and demonstrate a “can do attitude.” These classes should serve to bring novice/beginner level English learners to a solid survival and even advanced-conversational level of English for talented learners.
